When you want to go out and spend your day in sharjah, one of the main concern is where will you eat. Atleast I am the person, who first thinks of food, then anything else.. Its a real joke 
After wandering so much in Dubai, and spending all my weekends in Dubai’s restaurants, this time I decided to go somewhere else and Sharjah is very near to my home so its no a bad option. But when I entered Sharjah, I came to know that I have made a worst decision ever.

We didn’t even entered too much inside Sharjah, but a huge traffic was waiting to welcome us. So much traffic and noise pollution made us mad. We left the home at 2 pm and reach in the center of Sharjah i-e Rolla by around 4pm. Two hours of unbearable torture made us angry and hungry of ourse, so we decided to eat first and then further proceed. We were so much hungry, that we didn’t even want to wait for a while to eat, we were severly craving for mandi, so one of my friends started searching it and asking people. We surprised when we came to know that there are no mandi restaurants in whole area of Rolla, only one Bait al mandi which is so far, and one named Umer Khayam which was a little near to us.

So we decided in a blink of eye to go to Umer Khayam . It was about ten minutes aways from us by walk. When we entered inside the Umer Khayam Restaurant, it was like a cool and calm lake in hot and dry dessert.
We were extremely tired because of walking but when we entered inside Umer Khayam restaurant, we felt like we were never tired.
Its environmental very nice and peaceful. There were many rooms. Each for individual family.., we were directed by a waiter towards one of the big room in which big dinning table of eight persons was placed. We set and ordered water first. Then we were served with the menu., there were many types of bar bqs and grilled items.. Like chicken tikka with bread, Omer Khayyam mixed grill, mutton lamb chop with rice, mutton tikka with rice, mutton curry with rice, chicken bone less with rice and many many more.., we ordered one chicken tikka with roti, and one chicken madfoon. Waiting time was too long, we wait for about 20 minutes, meanwhile we were served with salad and soup so that we can bear patience. When we finished all the soup and salad, we saw the waiter coming towards our room with a big troley. Loaded with the ordered food.

We started eating without wasting even a minute, the taste doesn’t need any recommendations. It was outstanding and extremely delicious so much so that it was difficult for us to stop ourselves.. The quantity was also very much that we became full.
We asked for any sweet but the waiter denied its availability, surprisingly the don’t make any sweet dishes. That news made us a little upset.
But the overall experience was really awesome. I can say that Umer Khayyam is the best option of Arabic food in Rolla Sharjah.
